About

I'm Robin Monnier, a founder based in London.

I grew up in a village in the French country side, and started teaching myself to code at 12. That mostly meant breaking things and rebuilding them until they worked, which turned out to be reasonable training for building a company.

In 2021 I co-founded Onepilot with four others. We rebuilt customer support for the AI era: AI handling the volume, a network of freelance agents handling everything that needs a human, and clients billed per resolved ticket instead of per hour worked. More than 300 brands use us today, from Decathlon to SNCF. I'm CIO, which in practice means I own the infrastructure, the data, and the numbers that tell us whether any of it is working.

I'm also a neurodivergent founder, and I write about that here more often than I write about anything else. Not as a story about overcoming something, but because the way my brain works is inseparable from how I build. Most of what gets published about entrepreneurship assumes a kind of default operator. I'm interested in the rest of us.

You'll find writing here on AI and support operations, on running a profitable company without the usual playbook, and on neurodivergent entrepreneurship. Occasionally on distance running, which is where the thinking actually happens.

I was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list in 2026 (Retail & Ecommerce).
